Feed a Cold Starve a Fever?

Where did this old saying originate anyway?  This medical folklore has been around for thousands of years…believed to have started in the 1500s and 1600s.  Medical doctors of that time believed that your metabolism was in overdrive and creating the fever, thus starve the fever…to some extent they were right.

    Toxic Products~The Truth
